Medvedev: US on the brink of war with Russia

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that the American attack on an air base in Syria led the US "one step" from conflict with the Russian army.

Medvedev wrote on the social network that US attacks are "illegal" and that they have brought it "on the brink of military conflict with Russia".

"Russian side suspended the Memorandum on prevention of incidents and providing aviation flights during the operation in Syria, which was concluded with the United States", says Ministry statement.

"Not even bothering to find out something, the US demonstrated the power, military opposing against the country that is fighting international terrorism", says the statement issued by the Russian Ministry.
