Ljajic: Internet speed of 30 Mbps to be provided to all

BELGRADE - The Serbian government and China's telecoms giant Huawei on Wednesday signed an agreement on strategic partnership, and Deputy PM Rasim Ljajic said the plan was to provide all citizens with an internet speed of 30 Mbps, and give 100 Mbps to at least 50 pct of homes.

"It is quite an ambitious goal, possibly a little unrealistic from this point of view, but we believe it is achievable, provided that we do everything that is ahead of us, and that is to ensure an adequate base infrastructure," Ljajic said after the signing of the agreement.
