Goran Schildt | Athens | To June 4

Finnish author Goran Schildt fell in love with Greece in the 1950s and 60s, photographing many of the places he and his wife Christine visited during their trips to this country. Schildt's black-and-white photographs beautifully captured Greece during that period, showing the people, the sea and the mountains. An exhibition at the Eugenides Foundation in the southern Athens suburb of Palaio Faliro pays tribute to Schildt on what would have been his 100th birthday. The exhibition runs until Sunday, June 4, and admission is free.
