Crvena Zvezda and Partizan in this season's Europa League

Serbia's Red Star (Crvena Zvezda) Belgrade has qualified for the group stage of this season's Europa League after beating Russia's Krasnodar 2-1 (1-0).

The game was played late on Thursday in Belgrade in front of 52,000 fans, and saw Nemanja Radonjic and Kanga Kaku Guelor score for the home side, and Andreas Granqvist for Krasnodar from a penalty spot.

Krasnodar won the first game 3-2.

Red Star will play in Europa League for the first time since 2007. Serbia will for the first time have two clubs in the group stage of the competition, since Partizan has also qualified, past Hungary's Videoton.

The draw for the group state of this season's Europa League will be held at 13:00 hours CET on Friday.
