NATO and partners "to hold exercise in Serbia"

Next year the exercise of NATO and its partners that is currently taking place in Bosnia-Herzegovina "could be held in Serbia."

This is according to the Belgrade-based daily Blic.

The paper said it learned unofficially that "this story" is already "circulating among NATO officials" - and that it has been suggested that a suitable location in Serbia should be found for the exercise.

Allegedly "the vicinity of Belgrade" is being mentioned as "one possibility."

Blic also states that "at this time last year Aleksandar Vucic was in a meeting with NATO officials, when the idea of holding NATO exercises in Serbia was launched."

However, no one has yet officially confirmed this, given that the final decision has not been made, said the report.
