"EU army pact" officially launched

EU members have officially launched "a new era in defense cooperation with a program of joint military investment and project development," Tanjug is reporting.

Citing an AP report, the agency said on Monday that the program, dubbed PESCO, has been singed by 23 of the EU’s 28 member-states, and that its goal is "to help the EU confront its security challenges."
