Vucic receives Soros' son

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Monday in Belgrade received Alexander Soros, a member of Open Society Foundations' Global Board.

Tanjug is reporting that "Alex Soros is the oldest son of billionaire George Soros, with whom Vucic met in late September in New York."

According to this, Vucic said they at the time "wished to hear our view of the events in the Balkans, the situation and the future of the region."

"It's a chance to present our views in very different, most important places in the world, as well as to hear the way all those, who are under no obligation to always think the way we do, think," Vucic explained.

The president's office on Monday issued a statement saying that Vucic met with "Alex Soros, deputy chairman of the Managing Board of the Open Society Foundations," and that they discussed "regional cooperation and this foundation's support...
