Izetbegovic prepares paramilitary formations in Bosnia - report

BiH Presidency Member Bakir Izetbegovic is conducting an illegal training of paramilitary formations, which so far passed at least 9,000 young Bosniaks, reported Serbian daily "Vecernje Novosti".

According to the daily, more than 9,000 Bosniak men between 18 to 35 years of age went to the shooting school and basic tactical combat operations, and 5,000 of them also were charged with uniforms and basic military equipment.

Information on illegal military training directed by Bakir Izetbegovic and the top of the Democratic Action Party comes at the height of tensions in BiH after the first-instance verdict to Ratko Mladic at The Hague Tribunal. The "Bosnian pot", according to the information obtained by the daily from security circles, although apparently cold, is dangerously heated and threatens to undermine regional peace.
