Brnabic: Knowledge- and innovation-based economy our goal

VALJEVO - From an economy based on investments, we must move on to an economy based on knowledge and innovations, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Friday, adding that Serbia was no longer a source of cheap labour.

"An economy based on innovations is an economy where we do not compete based on cheap labour, subsidies... but on the extent of our reliance on our own resources," Brnabic said at a conference at the Petnica research station.
