Russia Builds World's Deadliest Submarine

Russia has built the world's deadliest submarine. Kremlin recently claimed that the most advanced ballistic missile submarine could easily hit targets 5,778 miles away with nuclear warheads. Defence experts are of the opinion that Borei II-class ('North Wind') submarine - named 'Knyaz Vladimir' or 'Prince Vladimir' - is the world's most powerful and dangerous.

The Navy said in a statement that Russia planned to build eight such submarines by the end of 2025. Prince Vladimir, which can carry up to 20 intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM), is capable of launching them together. The underwater cruiser has been designed in such a way so that radars cannot detect them. The 'monster' also has the ability to dive to about 400m, making it extremely difficult to detect by sonar.
