Minister participating in Visegrad Group meeting

Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic will be on an official visit to Budapest on Monday.

She will take part in the meeting of foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group (V4) and representatives of the governments of Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Slovenia and Croatia.

At the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, Joksimovic will represent Serbia, which is at the same time the only candidate country for EU membership from the Western Balkans participating in this format.

The topics discussed at the meeting are the EU enlargement, the future of the EU and energy.

The Presidency of the Visegrad Group, composed of Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, was taken over by Hungary in July 2017 for the one-year period.
