Some parts of Balkans still unstable, says Tillerson

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says that despite a certain amount of progress being made, there is still instability in some parts of the Balkans.

Tillerson spoke on Thursday in Vienna, Austria, where he is attending the OSCE Ministerial Council.

"Governments should accelerate economic and political reforms, including institutional strengthening, the fight against corruption and the rule of law," he said, according to Tanjug.

These are the key steps, the US official said.

Tillerson also mentioned the significance of an agreement on reforms in Bosnia-Herzegovina bearing in mind the 2018 elections.
