Another Serbian product has protected geographical origin

Begec carrot has been granted the status of protected geographical origin, the City Council of Novi Sad has announced.

This brand joins Futog cabbage and Fruska Gora lime honey as a protected product, a statement said.

Begec and Futog are towns near Novi Sad, the administrative center of Vojvodina. Mt. Fruska Gora is also located in Serbia's northern province.
