Top SNS officials want early parliamentary elections - paper

BELGRADE - A large number of Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) officials want early parliamentary elections to be called simultaneously with the Belgrade local elections, the Vecernje novosti daily reported ahead of an extraordinary SNS Presidency session scheduled for Wednesday.

The most vociferous and the most influential advocate of the idea is SNS Presidency Member Nebojsa Stefanovic, a deputy PM of Serbia, who is seconded by Zorana Mihajlovic, another deputy PM, Novosti report.
