Deputy PM Birchall meets Moldovan Foreign Affairs Minister Ulianovschi; importance of bilateral strategic partnership reiterated

Deputy Prime Minister Ana Birchall had a meeting on Tuesday with the Republic of Moldova Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Tudor Ulianovschi, context in which she reiterated the importance which Romania grants to the Strategic Partnership with the Republic of Moldova and underlined that the development of the bilateral cooperation on all levels represents a priority assumed in the governing programme, a release of the Government sent to AGERPRES informs.

"Romania proved consistency regarding the commitment to endorse the European integration of the Republic of Moldova and it will further support the demarches of Chisinau authorities in this direction," Ana Birchall stated, as quoted in the release.

The representative of Romania's Gov't stated, in this context, that one of the essential components of the strategic partnership between the two countries regards the cooperation and inter-connection between the two states in the energy area, the quoted source mentions.
