"Death of child of 11-year-old most likely accidental"

Both newspapers cited unofficial information according to which the child hanged himself from a door handle in a Belgrade apartment.

But later in the day, Blic said that the death was "most likely" accidental, citing unofficial preliminary results of an autopsy.

The newspaper said that the boy was "probably playing" when he "tied a scarf around his neck and around a door handle" and accidentally hanged himself.

His mother and two sisters were in the apartment at the time, the report said, "but were unable to react because everything happened very quickly."
