PM Borisov goes on a Visit to Albania

Prime Minister Boyko Borisov will be visiting Tirana today. He will hold a meeting with Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama, followed by plenary talks, reports bgnes. 

Dialogue and cooperation between the countries of the region will be discussed to make progress on the road to European integration of the Western Balkan countries. During his visit, the Bulgarian Prime Minister will participate in a meeting on the Aqaba Process on the Balkans as well as in a conference dedicated to the fight against violent extremism, along with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Jordanian King Abdullah II.

The Aqaba process is a series of international meetings initiated for the first time by the King of Jordan Abdullah II in 2015. Their aim is to maintain international and regional coordination and cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremist ideologies and radicalization through a comprehensive approach. The meetings are part of King Abdullah II's initiatives to establish contacts with different countries around the world to coordinate counter-terrorism actions.
