PM congratulates young mathematicians on winning medals

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic extended her congratulations on Friday to Serbian students who won medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Romania.

The students come from he Mathematical Gymnasium in Belgrade and the Novi Sad Gymnasium named after Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj.

"I congratulate the students of the Mathematical Gymnasium in Belgrade Aleksa Milojevic and Pavle Martinovic on the gold medal, Igor Medvedev and Jelena Ivancic on the silver medal, Jovan Toromanovic from the Mathematical Gymnasium in Belgrade and Nikola Pavlovic from the Jovan Jovanovi Zmaj Gymnasium in Novi Sad on winning the bronze medal at the Mathematical Olympiad in Romania," Brnabic said, according to a press release posted on the Serbian government's website.

"You used your talent and knowledge in the best possible way and proved that education and committed work are crucial to success. You are the best example that Serbia has a talent for a new era, and with your knowledge you move the boundaries. I wish you achieve even more outstanding results in further education and competitions," the prime minister said in her message.
