"Partition means war," says Kosovo PM

Ramish Haradinaj has spoken against the idea of "territory exchange with Serbia" and "made a strong warning," Kosovo-based website KoSSev is reporting.

Namely, the Kosovo prime minister told RTV Dukagjini that a partition "means war."

"A partition for me means war, I say it without hesitation and it is risky to talk about a partition," Haradinaj said, referring to the issue of "exchange of territory, that is, a partition of Kosovo" which the report said "Lufti Haziri brought to the public."

According to Haradinaj, "anyone who mentions partition will bring tragedy to the Balkans."

"It's not good to mention partition. Anyone who mentions partition, for whatever reason, is wrong, will bring tragedy to the Balkans," Haradinaj said.

The Kosovo prime minister, according to KoSSev, said that "in these circumstances there is no partition or exchange of territory" because "situation is jeopardized."

"There is no partition, there is no exchange of territory, moving of borders, that is a danger, that is not done in these circumstances," he said.
