Serbian water polo team become European champions

The Serbian water polo team have for the fourth time won the European Championships played in Barcelona, Spain.

The team, led by coach Dejan Savic, will be welcomed in Belgrade o Monday evening, togeter with young Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic, who just won her first WTA title in Moscow.

Serbia's water polo squad late on Saturday beat Spain 12-10 after extra time in the final game, to defend the title and extend its domination on the continent for two more years.

In the semifinal, Serbia defeated Croatia, currently world champions, while Spain was better than Italy.
