Golden Stag: Remarkable performance by James Blunt, Horia Brenciu & HB Orchestra and Delia

Over 5,500 people have participated in the Sfatului Square of Brasov in the third night of the Golden Stag International Festival that was the witness of a remarkable sold-out performance by James Blunt, Horia Brenciu & HB Orchestra and Delia.

It was also the second night of the contest the 18 artists have given their test before the jury and the audience. The 18 have mounted the stage once again to perform their second competition song, through Saturday night remaining only the excitement of the expectation of the jury's decisions and the public's as well and the journalists accredited to the festival.

In the second night of the contest, the artists took the floor in the reverse order to the first night. So, Raluca Blejusca opened the contest with Oameni / People, followed by Dinaya of Kazakhstan, who sang For you and Dora Gaitanovici with Tell me.

Ryan O'Shaughnessy performed his Together, the Italian Damiano Borgi sang Don't stop me now, while the Spaniard Jorge Gonzalez presented with Esta noche.

You don't see the sky, sang Lidia Isac of the Republic of Moldova, seconded by Omer Netzer of Israel, with I wish I came to you and Olivier Kaye of Belgium who interpreted the Holograf band's Sa nu-mi iei niciodata dragostea / Never take my love away.

Basti of San Marino performed his Stay song, while Inis Nezir of Albania mounted the stage with Pedestal, and John Karayiannis of Cyprus sang Diggiloo-Diggiley.

Following were Tiziana Camelin of Italy with My life for a love, Ovidiu Anton with Copacul/ The tree, a song by late Romanian singer Aurelian Andreescu.

I promise you was the song interpreted by Amaliya Margaryan of Armenia that ended the set of Romanian songs.

The last three contesters were Karl William Lund of the United Kingdom with Miracle, Antonia Gigovska of Macedonia with And I'm telling you and Kelly Joyce of France with Rendez-vous.

Apart from the international jury that is to decide who continues to the Grand Prize and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes, the audience and the journalists could vote on the second night for the Public's Prize and the Festival's Press Prize.

Edvin Marton of Hungary, Gigliola Cinquetti, Kristina Cepraga Goodwin and Luminita Dobrescu of Italy, Eleni Foureira of Greece, Arsenie Toderas of the Republic of Moldova and Madalin Voicu of Romania are the ones who will decide the winners of this edition of the Golden Stag.

The winners of the 25k Euro Grand Trophy of the Golden Stag International Festival will be found out on Saturday night, alongside the winners of the three prizes on the podium and the special prizes too: The prize for the best performance of a Romanian song; the Prize of Brasov City Hall; the Prize of Brasov County; the Public's Prize; the Prize of the Festival's Press; the Prize of the Public Television and Radio.AGERPRES(RO - author: Catalina Matei, editor: Marius Fratila; EN - author, editor: Maria Voican)
