Largest Serbian flag raised at Nikola Tesla Airport/PHOTOS

Belgrade's Nikola Tesla International Airport on Wednesday saw the raising of the largest yet Serbian flag on display, 72 square meters in size.

"As a gate to Belgrade and to Serbia, the airport has joined the state's initiative to enliven the cult of the flag," said the airport's executive director, Senka Jelenkovic.

"As you can see, the flag is imposing, it is 72 sq meters in size (12 by 6 meters), displayed on a 25-meter pole," she said.
