Serbia progresses to higher tier of UEFA Nations League

Serbia's national football squad beat that of Lithuania 4-1 (0-0) in Belgrade on Tuesday night.

Serbia in this way came out on top of Group 4 of UEFA Nations League C and qualified for League B - where the opponents will be Germany, Croatia, Russia, Poland, Austria, Wales, Scotland, Norway, and others, divided in four groups.

The Serbians also qualified for League C playoff that will allow the winner to participate in the European Championship even if they fail to get there through the traditional qualifications.
