AGERPRES receives Media Radar 2018 special award

AGERPRES Romanian National News Agency received on Thursday evening, during a gala ceremony, Media Radar 2018 special award, for "promoting the Centennial of the Greater Union in the country and abroad."

"It is an award that our colleagues greatly deserve," Director General of AGERPRES Claudia Nicolae said upon receiving the trophy.

She specified that this year, the AGERPRES documentary "The Greater Union: Romania 100 Years On" and the exhibitions dedicated to the Centennial were presented in 100 towns in Romania and the Republic of Moldova, but also across the ocean as well. "It is an accomplishment not just for AGERPRES, but for our country," Claudia Nicolae said.

The Media Radar grand prize (Media person of the year) was awarded to the singer Loredana. "I am very honored. (...) I am delighted to be part of this show that has become extremely popular," the artist declared.
