"Kosovo government will fall sooner than tariffs"

Kosovo PM Ramush Haradinaj's adviser Avni Arifi - who also represents Pristina in the dialogue with Belgrade - told Pristina-based website Lajmi on Tuesday that "the Kosovo government will fall sooner than withdrawing the decision" that concerns goods from central Serbia, and from Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The US State Department said earlier, in a press release published after Kosovo President Hashim Thaci met in Washington with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, that Pompeo "urged Kosovo authorities to rescind the tariffs placed on imports from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and to work with Serbia to avoid provocations and deescalate tensions."
