Dončić named Rookie of Month by NBA

In the 20 games Dončić has played, the Dallas Mavericks guard/forward spent the most time on the court and scored the most points among all of the league newcomers. On average, he played 33.2 minutes per game and scored 18.5 points.

Dončić also had the second highest number of assists (4.2) and steals (1.1) among rookies on average per game. He was number four among the newcomers in terms of rebounds (6.5 on average per game) and the fifth best shot of 3-pointers (38.2% success rate).

The Dallas Mavericks are well on their way to the playoffs, having won 11 and lost an equal number of games in the first month of the season.

This is a big improvement over last year, when the team logged only five wins in the same period and ended the entire season with 24 wins and 58 defeats.
