Serbia opens two more EU accession negotiation chapters

Chapters 17, economic and monetary policy, and 18 on statistics have been opened.

The delegation of Serbia was headed by the Minister for EU Integration Jadranka Joksimovic.

In addition to EU foreign minister, the opening of the chapters was attended by EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn.

With two newly opened chapters, Serbia has opened 16 chapters in the EU accession process so far, two of which have been temporarily closed.
