Hand grenades go missing from army depot in Montenegro

Podogrica daily Pobjeda reported this, Tanjug said on Tuesday.

It remains unclear at this time when the M-75 hand grenades went missing - while the incident was discovered when checks were conducted at all Montenegrin Army depots for weapons and ammunition.

Montenegro-based website CdM is reporting, quoting Pobjeda, that the Defense Ministry ordered "a comprehensive investigation" that will include the military police, the police, and the prosecution.

Basic State Prosecutor in Niksic Stevo Sekaric confirmed that the theft had been reported "several days ago," and that it has been determined the two crates containing hand grenades were missing.
