BSMEPA with a Draft Memorandum of Cooperation with the Macedonian Agency for Encouragement of Entrepreneurship

A Memorandum on Cooperation between BSMEPA and the Macedonian Entrepreneurship Promotion Agency was discussed by the Executive Director of the Executive Agency for Promotion of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Dr. Boyko Takov and representatives of the economic institutions of the Republic of Macedonia. The bilateral meeting took place on the second day of Dr. Takov's official visit to the Macedonian capital.

The Executive Director of BSMEPA visited the Macedonian Parliament where he met with representatives of the Macedonian Agency for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Macedonian Agency for Entrepreneurship Promotion, the Directorate for Technological Industrial Development of the Zones, the Foreign Investment Agency and the promotion of Macedonia's exports. The meeting was attended by APPRM Director Ile Mitkovski, the Head of the Office for Trade and Economic Affairs at the Bulgarian Embassy in Macedonia Dr. Blagoy Klimov and the Deputy Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Macedonia Dane Yosifovski.

The participants at the bilateral meeting discussed the possibilities for intensifying cooperation between the institutions, including the preparation and signing of a bilateral memorandum of understanding to be finalized in March 2019 in support of enterprises from both countries and in particular the ICT sector. Economic representatives from the Macedonian side welcomed the initiatives and activities of BSMEPA by declaring support for the promotion and development of bilateral economic relations.
