Good Conditions for Skiing, Strong Wind High on Vitosha and the Balkan

There are favourable conditions for skiing, the Mountain Rescue Service to the Bulgarian Red Cross told Focus News Agency. The weather is unfavourable for hiking in the high parts of Vitosha and the Balkan Mountain Range due to strong wind. At Botev Peak, the wind is stormy. The lift facilities are open, the ski slopes were prepared. Those who plan to ski outside the ski zones are advised to stick to designated trails and avoid areas with avalanche danger. No accidents with tourists were registered in the last 24 hours.
