Full Integration of DSK and Societe Generale Expressbank Expected in 2020

The change of ownership will not change the activities of the two banks in the short term, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of the Management Board of DSK Bank Violina Marinova toldFocus Radio.

"DSK Bank and Expressbank will continue to operate as separate and independent legal entities under the jurisdiction of one owner - the regional leader in Central and Eastern Europe, OTP Group. Currently, only the name and social identity of Expressbank has changed, the bank is already doing its usual business under this trade name. These are the same two banks with their history and successful banking that will continue to work in the same way," said Violina Marinova. She further said that to complete the process of full integration, the business operations, products, internal systems and resources of the two banks will be analysed and evaluated. Only after these in-depth processes, the real integration and merger of the two banks will complete, the DSK chief executive officer added.
