More than 50 Small and Medium-sized Companies Participated in the First ever Seminar Organized by BSE, BSMEPA and BALIP

Representatives of more than 50 small and medium-sized companies participated in the first ever seminar organized by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE), the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) and the Bulgarian Association of Licensed Investment Intermediaries (BALIP). The seminar is part of the program of the three organizations supporting the development of SMEs in our country. During the event, companies learned about the ways in which they could use the capital market as a source of financing for their business.

"We strive to create a vibrant and flexible ecosystem of prosperous SMEs who want to explore all existing opportunities to raise capital to invest in their growth. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, our natural partners are BSMEPA and BALIP, with whom we will work together for the future too, "said Ivan Takev, CEO of BSE.

"In partnership with the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) and the Bulgarian Association of Licensed Investment Intermediaries (BALIP), we give managers of small and medium-sized companies the opportunity to learn first hand - from the familiar within the stock market, with the benefits and opportunities for development, which gives companies the listing of the stock exchange and the raising of capital from the capital market. In order to stimulate the launch of small and medium-sized enterprises on the stock exchange, BSMEPA has launched a call for proposals under a Voucher scheme, where about 30 enterprises will be able to receive vouchers worth 50 000 BGN each with whom to hire an investment intermediary and to prepare a prospectus for issuance of securities.
