Bulgaria Air and Air Italy Start Joint Flights to the United States and Canada

Bulgaria Air and Air Italy have signed a large partnership to offer their customers a better and more convenient connection between Bulgaria, Italy, the United States, Canada, Asia and Africa. Under a new codeshare agreement between the two airlines, Bulgaria Air's FB code will be placed on Air Italy's air tickets between Milan Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino, Naples, Olbia and Cagliari (Sardinia), Palermo and Catania (Sicily) and Lamedia Terme (Calabria).

Starting with the new summer season of IATA, Air Italy will place its IG code on the tickets of the national carrier between Milan Malpensa and Sofia, Varna and Burgas. At the same time, thanks to a new commercial interline agreement, Bulgaria Air passengers will be able to travel with Air Italy flights between Milan Malpensa and Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and dozens of other destinations of the Italian carrier in Asia and Africa. These include Cairo, Lagos, the largest city in Nigeria, as well as the Egyptian seaside resort town of Sharm El Sheikh. For greater convenience and choice, the national carrier doubles the number of flights to Milan - they will run every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Today's first available flights from the partnership are also marketed starting March 31st.
