#Romania2019.eu/About 90 experts of EU attend in Bucharest informal meeting of Social Protection Committee

Approximately 90 experts of the European Union are participating on Monday and Tuesday in the Informal Meeting of the Social Protection Committee (SPC), which takes place in Bucharest, at the Palace of Parliament. "It is a Social Protection Committee. Generally, the discussion revolves around the social assistance policy, cohesion, the European common value and so on. The meeting is at expert level. I will participate in the opening out of respect, because it is held in our country. There are about 90 participants. The Social Protection Committee is a consultative body attached to the Council of Employment and Social Affairs. This Committee is established based a functioning treaty of the European Union. Today, the policy on social assistance is being discussed and the further strengthening of the European Union unity on matters of social assistance," Labour Minister Marius Budai told AGERPRES.
