Prisoner who Escaped a Week Ago was Captured in Burgas

Last night, Burgas police officers detained a 20-year-old criminally declared man who had escaped a week ago from an open-type work facility near Sarafovo.

The young man has been serving a 10-month sentence for theft. After deviating from the site, the man was hiding in various uninhabited houses in the Burgas district of Rudnik, where he grew up. During the detention, the man behaved aggressively, requiring the use of physical force by the police. He will be brought back to the Burgas prison for his sentence.
