Romania records surplus of 90 mln euros in international electricity trade in first 11 months of 2018 (official data)

Bucharest, March 10 /Agerpres/ - Romania exported electricity worth 210.6 million euros in the first 11 months of 2018, while the value of the imports was of 120.8 million euros, according to data centralized by the National Institute of Statistics . The value of exports decreased by 14.9pct, while in the case of imports, the decrease was 34.8pct compared to January-November 2017. Under these circumstances, Romania's surplus in international trade in electricity amounted to 89.8 million euros. In the first 11 months of 2018, Romania's FOB exports totaled 63.128 billion euros, up 8.6pct year-on-year and CIF imports totaled 76.545 billion euros (plus 10.1pct).
