Teachers to hold rally at Syntagma Square at noon

The OLME union representing Greek public school teachers has organized a rally at noon on Friday in downtown Athens, which is expected to cause traffic jams in the city center.

Teachers, who walked off the job on Friday, will be gathering at Syntagma Square to protest an Education Ministry bill changing the university entrance exam system.

The rally is organized to coincide with a discussion in Parliament on the bill.
