Ground to be broken in May for NCR's Belgrade campus

Journalists who visited NCR in Belgrade have learned this from Stefan Lazarevic, the company's general director for Serbia.

Lazarevic added that it was the company's employees, "thanks to their work, talent, fast learning and progress," who are to thank for Belgrade being selected as the location to build the campus.
"NCR started operating in Serbia in 2011. The initial plan was to employ 600 people, however we had as many employees already in 2013, and today the company employs more than 3,100 people. Due to the constant growth of the workforce, the campus came as a natural combination of circumstances," Lazarevic said.
According to him, Belgrade will thus become the second city in the world to host a campus of this global firm with 135 years of tradition - the first being the one in Atlanta.
Lazarevic explained, the campus will spread on 40,000 square meters, including 10,000 square meters for garage space, and restaurants and stores. USD 90 million will be invested in the campus.
