Commissioner in Athens to present EU disaster management plan

European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management Christos Stylianides arrived on Wednesday in Athens, where he is due to give a presentation on "rescEU" proposal.

The Commission's new policy is aimed at strengthening the EU's disaster management response, with the discussion at the National Technical University of Athens on Thursday including professors, researchers and experts.
