Vucic has phone conversation with Erdogan

In a phone call, Vucic and Erdogan stressed their firm commitment to jointly, through the work of the High Council for Cooperation, promote overall relations between Serbia and Turkey, the Serbian president's press office said in a statement.

The next session of the Council will be held during the official visit of Erdogan to Serbia, announced for this summer, when the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries will be marked.
Besides bilateral relations, Vucic and Erdogan discussed the regional situation and emphasized that peace and stability in the region are of great importance also for the whole of Europe.
Vucic expressed his satisfaction at Turkey signed with Bosnia-Herzegovina, as it had previously done ith Serbia, a protocol on the construction of a highway between Belgrade and Sarajevo.
He said he expects the works on this important road to start during the summer.
