Assailants use dynamite to blow up ATM in Athens suburb

Unidentified assailants targeted a bank ATM in the Athens suburb of Aghios Dimitrios in the early hours of Monday, damaging the machine but causing no injuries.

According to the police, the assailants used dynamite to cause the explosion at the ATM at 4 a.m.

It remains unclear whether the vandals managed to make off with the cash inside the ATM or whether that too was destroyed in the blast.
