Turkish artists leave their mark on Italian opera

Turkish soprano Simge Büyükedes and mezzo-soprano Asude Karayavuz won acclaim on Nov. 10 for their performances in the Aida and Norma operas at the Teatro Comunale Alighieri in Ravenna, Italy.
