The team of 30 medical personnel from Albania will volunteer in the health institutions in the Italian town of Bergamo.
"Thanks to the Albanian government for this act of solidarity and affection," Italian embassy in Tirana said in a tweet.
Albania confirmed 11 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours - the smallest increase in diagnoses since March 21.
Data published by Albania Public Health Institute reveals the total number of COVID-19 patients so far is 197, while 33 people have recovered and ten have died.
Albania has been on full lockdown since March 12, with citizens only allowed to leave their homes between 5 am and 1 pm.
Nearby Italy, however, has been battered by the crisis, recording the most deaths of any country worldwide. On Friday, the country saw its death toll jump to more than 9,000, while the number of positive cases was around 86 000.
