Snowboarder Mastnak third in parallel giant slalom

St. Moritz – Slovenian Tim Mastnak took third place in parallel giant slalom in FIS Snowboarding World Cup in Scuol, Switzerland, on Saturday. Russian Igor Sluev won the competition, while Pole Michal Nowaczyk was second.

This was Mastnak’s fifth World Cup podium and the second podium for the Slovenian team in this season.

Žan Košir was the only other Slovenian to competition in the elimination round, losing to Nowaczyk. Košir ended the competition in 13th place.
