Slovenia would like to organise EU-W Balkans and resilience summits

Brussels – During its EU presidency in the second half of the year, Slovenia would like to organise an EU-Western Balkans summit and an informal summit on resilience, Foreign Minister Anže Logar said on Monday, as he attended a session of the Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.

It’s still our interest to organise an EU-Western Balkans summit and an informal summit on resilience, wishing to discuss building a robust EU which will be able to address various crises, from a health to a cyber crisis, Logar told Slovenian reporters in Brussels via a video call.

He said that substantive preparations for both summits were already under way, whereas negotiating a concrete agenda was still to be done. Logar said that Slovenian representatives were constantly in contact with officials from the Council and the European Commission.
