Transport Minister Drula: We know the constructor for segment 4 of the Craiova Pitesti Express Road

The winner of the bid for the construction of segment 4 (between Colonesti and Pitesti) of the Craiova-Pitesti Express Road, measuring 31.8 kilometres in length, has been announced, and it's the same Romanian company that builds segments 2 and 3, respectively SA&PE Construct Association - Spedition UMB - Tehnostrade, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Catalin Drula, wrote on his Facebook page. "More good news for the DX12 Craiova - Pitesti Express Road, the second one this week. The winner of the bid for the construction of segment 4 (between Colonesti and Pitesti), measuring 31.8 km in length, has just been announced. It is the same Romanian company that builds segments 2 and 3," wrote Drula. According to him, the contract is worth 617 million lei, and the money comes from European funds. Following the completion of the re-evaluation process of the bids ordered by the Bucharest Court of Appeal by Civil Decision no. 2127/2020, pronounced on November 16, 2020 and notified to the Contracting Authority on December 28, 2020, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, CNAIR (National Company of Administration of Road Infrastructure) communicated the result of the contract award procedure "Design and Execution of the Craiova - Pitesti Express Road, Segment 4." Thus, according to a press release of the CNAIR sent on Wednesday evening to AGERPRES, the winning bidder is SA&PE Construct Association - UMB Shipping - Tehnostrade (with SA&PE Construct - association leader), with the price of 617.081 million lei, without VAT. The duration of the contract is 36 months, of which 12 months are meant for the design period and 24 months are meant for the actual execution of the works.
