Stock market, interbank transactions suspended for Easter holidays

Ljubljana – The Ljubljana Stock Exchange has suspended its operations on Friday for Easter holidays. Due to the suspension of the European TARGET2 payment system, banks in the euro zone will not conduct interbank transactions until after Easter Monday.

Banks in Slovenia will process only internal payments within each bank today as most other European countries observe bank holiday on Good Friday.

Easter Monday is a bank holiday in Slovenia.

Payment transactions will resume on Tuesday, as will trading on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.

Instant payments will continue undisturbed during the holidays, including the Flik service, which enables the transfer of money between bank accounts of individuals in Slovenia.
