One dead, 13 wounded, after minibus, tractor-trailer collide near western border

The authorities have activated the red plan for intervention, on Monday morning, after an accident that took one life and left 13 others wounded, on highway A1, before the Border Crossing Point Nadlac II, Arad County (west). The spokesperson for the Arad County Emergency Situations Inspectorate (ISU), George Plesca, stated, for AGERPRES, that a minibus registered in the Czech Republic, heading towards the border, ran into a tractor-trailer idling in a queue two kilometers away from the border. The minibus was carrying 17 Ukrainian passengers, and ISU noted that 14 of them were injured. One of the persons on the minibus died. Several Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication (SMURD) units and ambulances were on the scene to pick up the wounded.
