BSH Hišni Aparati to receive EUR 7.7 million subsidy

Ljubljana/Nazarje – The Nazarje-based home appliance maker BSH Hišni aparati, a Slovenian subsidiary of BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, will receive a state subsidy worth EUR 7.7 million. The investment will create 62 new jobs, including at least 12 for highly qualified employees, the Economy Ministry said on Thursday.

Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek will sign a subsidy agreement with BSH Hišni Aparati CEO Boštjan Gorjup on Friday at the International Trade Fair (MOS) in Celje.

The funds will be used to purchase new machinery and equipment within the Hardware+ investment into the development and production of a new generation of small household appliances.

BSH Hišni aparati Nazarje generated revenue of almost EUR 380 million last year, an increase of around 10% compared to the year before. They did not disclose the total amount of profits.

The company, which is a part of the international concern BSH Home Appliances Group, plans to generate revenue of around EUR 487 million this year.
