291 new coronavirus cases reported for Sunday, five deaths

Ljubljana – Slovenia recorded another 291 coronavirus cases on Sunday, nine more than the same day a week ago. Hospital figures remained stable with Covid tracker site showing another five people died.

The National Institute of Public Health estimates there are now 13,211 active cases in the country.

The 7-day average of new cases rose by one to 1,039 and the 14-day incidence per 100,000 was up by three to 624.

Data from the tracker site covid-19.sledilnik.org shows the number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals rose by four to 364 this morning after 29 new admissions, 20 discharges and five deaths yesterday.

There are 98 patients in intensive care.

The test positivity rate yesterday was 17%.
